Unacceptable CoresUpdated 2 years ago
- Cores must be returned in rebuildable condition
- The core returned MUST match to the product sold
- Example: IDM110 will not be accepted for a core of a IDM120
- Example: AA coded injectors will not be accepted for AD coded injector cores
- Typical reasons for denied core credit
- Disassembled cores
- Broken cores
- Modified cores
- Fire damage or burnt cores
- Water damaged cores
- See below for examples of denied core credit:
Disassembled cores:
- Cores received disassembled will receive no core credit, cores must be assembled with all components
- Diesel Pumps with plugs removed or missing will receive no credit
- Diesel Pumps with internal components removed, disassembled, or missing will receive no credit
- Ford HPOP's with removed hose fittings will be accepted
- Navistar HPOP's with missing lift pumps and/or hose fitting will be deducted $100.00 from core charge
- Diesel injectors disassembled will receive no credit
- CP3 Pumps missing freeze plugs will receive no credit
- CP3 Pumps missing Pressure Regulator will be deducted $100.00 from core charge
Broken Cores
- Cores received with broken housing, broken mounting tabs, broken connectors will receive no credit
- IPR Valve with broken connectors will receive no core credit
- Diesel Injectors with broken connectors will receive no core credit
- Any core with broken housing will receive no core credit
- FICMs or IDMs with broken connectors will receive no core credit
Modified or Deleted cores
- Cores that have been altered or modified will receive no core credit
- EGR cooler that have been welded or plugged will receive no core credit
- HPOPs with oversized fittings will receive no core credit
- Billet performance HPOPs will not be accepted
